IMACULATURA x VIKA TONU, 2014
Imaculatura and Vika Tonu teamed up for 2 projects, part of the INVISIBLE & STRICT NECESSAIRE collections.
First piece, the ”Forget me not” glove, is a veil and silver glove, that covers only the palm of the hand and is sewn to a four-finger-ring and a bracelet. On the inside part of the glove things that should be kept in mind are written: Don’t forget to buy water, bread, chocolate, bananas, coffee. Don’t forget to call. Don’t forget me…
In October 2016, the glove was displayed at ”Re.Re/Overriding design with art and vice-versa” exhibition at Rumänisches Kulturinstitut Wien, part of the Vienna Design Week, curated by Roxana Gibescu and Mihai Zgondoiu.

The second project is entitled ”Le Frère”, an object that can be worn as a pendant, in the shape of a functional real size slingshot made from brass, leather and elastic cord.
